Learn to use AI. Right here in Māpua

Russell Manning, Collaborator at Mahitahi Tasman

Who is Russell Manning?

AI trainer and consultant in Tasman, New Zealand. I run Digital Tempo, teach AI in person in Māpua under the Tempo AI name, and chair the trust behind Mahitahi Colab. Three decades in IT, no vendor deals, and the aim every time is that you can do it yourself afterwards.

Three decades of making systems work

I have spent most of my working life in IT and business systems: consulting, project management, and the unglamorous job of getting software to do what a business actually needs. Digital Tempo has been my company since 2021.

That background matters more than it sounds. Most of what goes wrong with AI in a small business is not the AI, it is the same things that go wrong with any tool: nobody owns it, it does not fit how the work runs, and the people who need it never got shown properly.
